Artistic Swimming Juniors gear up for Europeans

The five-day competition programme begins on Wednesday 25th June at the Olympic Aquatics Centre in Athens, with the action taking place concurrently with the European Aquatics Junior Diving Championships at the venue.

For the Great Britain team, the first competitive swims come on day two of the championships as Loya Cenkci is entered into the Women’s Solo Technical final as well as being part of the British ensemble for the Team Free Preliminary performance.

Friday’s schedule features the Team Tech final, with the junior team of Robyn Ashworth, Katherine Boitsidis, Cencki, Jessica Hinxman, Holly Hughes, Sophie Rowney, Magdalena Townsend and Cara Zeidler having placed eighth together on the senior stage earlier in June.

A team performance will then round out the championships, with the Team Free Final the concluding medal event in Athens, while Ranjuo Tomblin - who won silver in last year’s junior men’s solo technical and free events in Malta – will look to add further silverware to his 2025 collection in solo competition following impressive medal-winning performances among Great Britain’s Artistic Swimming success on the World Aquatics World Cup tour and at the recent senior European Championships.
