There are two programmes that make up the World Class Pathway:
- World Class Podium Programme - this programme supports athletes with realistic gold medal winning capabilities at the next Paralympic Games.
- World Class Podium Potential Programme - this programme supports athletes who's performances have suggested they have a realistic chance to qualify for 2028 but who are aiming for medal success in 2032 and beyond.
To be considered for a place on the World Class Programme athletes must meet the criteria as set out in the selection policies outlined below.

British Para-Swimming Team Selection Appeals Procedure
The following procedures have been adopted by the British Swimming Office in the consideration of any appeal made by or on behalf of any athlete wishing to appeal by virtue of his or her non-nomination (non-selection) for (and any de-selection from) the Aquatic Team nominated by British Para-Swimming.
