There are two programmes that make up the World Class Pathway:
- World Class Podium Programme - this programme supports athletes with realistic gold medal winning capabilities at the next Paralympic Games.
- World Class Podium Potential Programme - this programme supports athletes who's performances have suggested they have a realistic chance to qualify for 2028 but who are aiming for medal success in 2032 and beyond.
To be considered for a place on the World Class Programme athletes must meet the criteria as set out in the selection policies outlined below.
